On “Living Fossils” AstroLogical brings the future and the past together to form a shining example of present day musicianship.Vancouver multi-instrumentalist and producer/emcee AstroLogical has woven together a collection of instrumentals that illustrate a sense of fine tuned composition unrivaled in the vancouver hip hop production scene today. Complex and deeply layered instrumentation transition seamlessly from track to track while staying virtually free of repetitive hip hop production cliches and predictable rhythm elements. Old dusty samples have been brushed off and presented in their shiny new glory along side live bass lines and software to create a past/future hybrid worthy of praise.
